My medium

Sustainability Meets Creativity

I use all sorts of mediums in my work, but the magic medium is old tee shirts! I drench them in a fabric hardener and sculpt the fabric into all sorts of wild and wonderful creations. I embellish with clays and acrylics and any other cool items that work. Creations can be treated to be used outdoors.

Each creation embodies a commitment to reduce waste and celebrate the beauty of repurposed materials. l love to play! I enjoy finding ways to reuse and recycle interesting items. I began my artistic journey as a wire jewellery artist. I have shared my passion for the craft by teaching others.

Several years back, I took a course in Fabric Sculpture, and I was hooked! After much experimentation, and an overflow of crazy ideas, I fell in love with this versatile medium. The possibilities are endless!
